  • Heat a cast iron pan, heavy skillet, or grill over medium-high heat.

  • Step 2: Sear the Steaks

  • Place steaks in the pan or on the grill.
  • Sear each side for 2–3 minutes without moving to develop a crust.
  • Step 3: Cook Through
  • Lower the heat to medium.
  • Cook each side for 4–6 minutes, depending on thickness and doneness preference.
  • Optionally, cover the pan lightly to retain moisture.
  • Step 4: Rest Before Serving
  • Remove steaks from heat and place on a board or plate.
  • Let rest for 10–15 minutes to allow juices to redistribute.
